The Brief
The state’s flagship trade expo needed to feel national, not regional — and it needed to do so on a site that was still a car park six weeks before doors. Four exhibition halls, a 900-seat conference stage running back-to-back sessions, a B2B lounge, and an entrance that would end up on every front page in the city.
We took the whole thing: design, fabrication, LED, audio, lighting, rigging, power distribution and the overnight turnarounds between programme days.
What We Built
Four exhibition halls
Two hundred and forty stalls laid out, powered and signed, with a service corridor the public never saw.
The water wall
A recirculating water feature carrying the expo mark, lit from behind and running eleven days without a leak.
Conference stage
A 900-seat hall with a panoramic LED backdrop, IMAG to two side screens and overnight resets between programme days.
B2B lounge pavilions
Six meeting pavilions built inside the main hall, acoustically separated and individually branded.
Entrance & letters
The illuminated I ♥ BGTE letters and the entrance facade — the photograph that ran in every city paper.
“We changed the session order twice during the programme and the stage was reset in time on both occasions.”
