The Brief
Four New Year’s Eve events on the same night, in four different venues, for clients who each expected to feel like the only show we were doing. Two hotel ballrooms, a club floor and an open-air terrace — all with doors within an hour of each other.
Four independent rigs went in over the preceding two days, each with its own crew chief and its own spares, coordinated from one production office with a single escalation line.
What We Built
Custom DJ console
A branded console shell built to the artist’s equipment list and lit from within.
Mandala LED backdrop
A shaped LED backdrop running content cut to the set list, with a clean sponsor frame.
Truss rig
A ground-supported truss rig carrying moving heads, washes and beams, load-calculated for the venue roof.
Line-array audio
Left-right line array with delay fills, tuned in the empty room in the afternoon.
Changeover plan
A twenty-minute act changeover rehearsed twice, run behind a lighting look rather than a dark stage.
“The changeover happened while people were still dancing. Nobody stood around waiting for the next set.”
